Technical Sales Engineer
Job Description
For one of our clients with presence across EMEA active in the ICT, Automotive, Energy Infrastructure, e-Mobility, and Automation sectors. We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for developing our hydrogen power system business in commercial, industrial and utility applications.
Key Challenges:
Technical & Industry Expertise – Strong understanding of hydrogen power systems, local grid codes, legislation, and industry standards in EMEA.
Sales & Business Development – Ability to identify market opportunities, develop sales strategies, and manage key customer relationships to drive revenue growth.
Technical Sales & Customer Support – Skilled in preparing technical proposals, delivering product training, and providing on-site technical support for complex challenges.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input – Monitor industry trends, collect market feedback, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications
Educational & Technical Background – Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field, with knowledge of energy system architecture and integration.
Industry Experience & Sales Acumen – 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy, hydrogen power, or battery storage, with an understanding of sales and business development processes.
Customer & Relationship Management – Strong ability to specify customer requirements, communicate with product teams, negotiate contracts, and build long-term client relationships.
Adaptability & Mobility – Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset, willingness to travel for client meetings and events, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus), and a valid driver’s license.
